What are Cookies?

How to block cookies on your browser

Internet Explorer

  1. Click the Tools button, and then click Internet Options

  2. Click the Privacy tab, and then, under Settings, move the slider to the top to block all cookies or to the bottom to allow all cookies

  3. and then click OK.

Google Chrome

  1. On your computer, open Google Chrome

  2. In the top right, click the Menu

  3. Click Settings Show advanced settings.

  4. In the “Privacy” section, click Content settings.

  5. Use the “Cookies” section to change your settings: To block all cookies, click Block sites from setting any data.

Firefox

  1. Go to the Firefox drop-down menu

  2. Select Preferences.

  3. Click Privacy.

  4. Set “Firefox will:” to Use custom settings for history.

  5. Check the box next to “Accept cookies from sites” to enable cookies

  6. Click OK.

Safari

  1. Go to the Safari pull down menu

  2. Select Preferences.

  3. Go to the “Security” tab.

  4. Under “Accept Cookies”, set it to accept, reject, or selectively accept cookies

Opera

  1. Select Settings

  2. Select Preferences.

  3. Then Select Quick Preferences

  4. Your last step would be to uncheck “Enable Cookies”
